In Egyptian homes, there is a word for the blanket everyone reaches for. The one that stops the eye when it is draped across a chair, and earns its place every night when the layers are lifted. Woven in jacquard patterns with a history older than any trend, cool enough to sleep under and weighted enough to feel held. It is simply called a Koverta. There is no other word for it.
Kovertas was built around that object. Around the belief that where we rest matters, and what we rest under should be as considered as everything else we bring into our lives. Each piece is woven from Egyptian cotton, made to improve with every wash, and designed to belong in your home for years — and in your family for longer.

The Design

Each piece is conceived and developed in-house, the patterns, the construction, the colourways. Every decision is made before a single thread is woven, because what something becomes at the end depends entirely on intention at the beginning.
